An old-school island sunset picnic just like the ones we grew up with. Enjoy lemongrass ganjan chai or seasonal neero, traditional games, and storytelling. Kayak the river at sunset, join our signature Urrak/Feni cocktail workshop, and follow the aroma of a hot, home-cooked Goan dinner spread made by kaki. The Local Plan Total duration: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM. The Journey: Meet your host (30–45 mins from most parts of North Goa) and follow them for a 3-minute drive to the island spot. The Spot: A 2-minute walk from the parking area. The Fun: Sunset kayaking, traditional Goan games, and seasonal toca-boca (local bites & refreshments). The Feast: Kaki’s traditional dinner spread, Urrak/ Feni shots and cocktails/ mocktails. Quick Info. This picnic is for all ages, is kiddo-friendly, senior-friendly and pet-friendly. Carry rainwear, swimwear, towel, change of clothes, and slippers or closed footwear. Your picnic includes toca-boca (seasonal bites), kayaking, kaki's dinner spread, drinks, life vests, and a private washroom, at a private-exclusive locaiton on an island. But, does not include transport. Though, if you need transport, we can have it arranged, from your place of stay. The islanders and villagers love their quiet and privacy, so please do not tag the location when you post on social media. Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation by you: Full refund only if cancelled 72 hours in advance. No refund for cancellations made within 72 hours of the experience. Cancellations must be done via phone call, followed by a WhatsApp confirmation. Bookings are non-transferable to another person, date, or experience. In case of cancellation by The Local Beat: We may cancel or reschedule due to unavoidable reasons (e.g., weather, public unrest, transport failure, natural events). If rescheduling doesn’t work for you, a full refund will be done within 5 working days via GPay or bank transfer.
